Description

Kudo Turkey and Duck Cold Pressed Dog Food

Kudo is one of the highest meat content cold-pressed foods we’ve ever stocked! The Turkey and Duck recipe contains 30% dehydrated meat, 12% turkey fat and 5% turkey liver– which may not seem like a lot at first glance, but lets break it down:

Kudo starts with fresh meat, which naturally contains around 70% moisture. That moisture is gently removed before the turkey and duck are blended with the other ingredients. What remains is the same meat, just without the water, meaning the percentage on the label reflects the true amount of meat in your dog’s bowl.

Approximately 1.2–1.5 kg of fresh meat is used to produce every 1 kg of Kudo cold-pressed food. That’s three times more meat than some other leading cold pressed brands.

This recipe is available in two sizes of kibble to suit all breeds. Kudo recommend their mini food for dogs up to 10kg and after that be looking at the med/maxi size.

The benefits of feeding cold pressed dog food

Cold-pressed dog food is made differently from traditional dry dog food. Most kibble is produced using high-temperature extrusion, where ingredients are cooked at very high heat before being shaped into pellets.

Cold-pressed food is made at much lower temperatures, where the ingredients are gently pressed together instead. This gentler process helps preserve the integrity of the ingredients and produces a food that breaks down more easily during digestion. Additionally; cold pressed food does not swell in the stomach in the same was as many traditional kibbles, making it a better choice for dogs who are prone to bloat.

The bag sizes include a 3kg and a 12kg but we have some offers on to suit your needs. If you find yourself feeding A LOT of food, the 24kg offer will save you some euros. If your dog eats less but you still want to benefit from a deal, the new 4 x 3kg deal is now available. This one is great for freshness, travelling or for anyone who finds feeding from a larger bag inconvenient!

Key Benefits

  • Minimally processed to preserve natural nutrients.
  • High meat content – 1.2–1.5 kg of fresh meat used to produce every kg of Kudo.
  • Novel Protein - both proteins can be better tolerated by some dogs.
  • Small Breed Option mini pellets for smaller mouths available.
  • Great for feeding alongside raw food.
  • Cold pressed at low temperatures.
  • Easy to digest and does not swell in the stomach.
  • Resealable bag, keeping your food fresh for longer.

I have an 8 year old cockapoo who is such a picky eater, and she loves this kibble. This is the first kibble I’ve been able to get her to consistently eat over time. If you’ve a picky eater I would recommend trying the sample size

My Husky absolutely loves the kudo lamb and rice

My Husky absolutely loves the kudo lamb and rice. The kibble is a good size and crunchy which he likes. The resealable bag is very handy and keeps the food fresh which is important. I will be buying kudo dry food from now onwards.

Kudo Cold Pressed

Transitioning my boy onto Kudo’s Adriatic Fish. So far so good, he seemed to love it from first bite and he can be very picky! Hoping to try other flavours once we are fully on Kudo to keep things interesting for my dog 🐶

Not great, definitely not for sensitive stomachs

Both of our dogs (one with a sensitive stomach, one a young fella who normally never has issues) had digestive problems after this one. Very light poop, constantly eating grass. Dissappinting as the ads were all very positive!

Cocker spaniel is happy with it

Cocker spaniel is happy with it . I had to change from the DARF to this . The pieces of kibble is significantly larger than DARF .

Seems good so far

I bought a 3 kg bag to try it out. Dog likes it, it softens easily with water so can use to stuff a kong. It is very dense so less pellets for the weight. It's early days yet as I'm just introducing it mixed with previous food but probably will buy again.

Good alternative to darf

My dog who was on Darf since over a year really enjoyed Kudo.

There seemed to be no issues digesting it, we introduced it gradually.

The food doesn’t have a very strong smell either.

I would switch over gradually

Fussy dog approved

I was recommended to try this with my fussy boy due to more meat in the food. Thankfully he took to it right away. His tummy agrees too.
